The Boy and the Owl

How do we describe God to our children? We explain to them that God is merciful, compassionate, and just. We tell our children that He protects and cares for us. We explain to them that one day we will have to stand before God and explain to Him why we did certain things and neglected others. Essentially, we are trying to develop a healthy relationship with our Creator, not only for our children but also for ourselves. To achieve this, we must first know Who God is. To get to know Him, you must first know His attributes. Our hope is that you can use this book to help your children understand the attributes of God. "Even before we can know God, it is necessary for us to recognize His existence, sovereignty, His unconditional concern and love, and that He generously rewards all those who diligently seek Him. This amazing and unique poem takes our children on a journey to the knowledge of God through the deductions and aha moments of an adventurous boy being taught by a wise owl. Learning about and discovering different names and attributes of God helps youngsters recognize Him, the Supreme.
