As I listened to the exciting stories of converts, I felt as if I were traveling to different cities around the world and witnessing fascinating events. I was also able to observe with great joy the sparkle in the eyes of the converts who, after all the searching and difficulties they had endured, had found Islam. The story of every convert who received the gift of true faith carries a message, a lesson for all humanity.

Through the stories I heard from converts while preparing this book, I witnessed not only the transformative power of Islamic doctrine , but also the solutions the religion of Tawhid (monogamy) offers to the search for meaning and inner turmoil that are increasingly prevalent in the modern age. In particular, the powerful message of the Qur'an, which lifts the heart and mind to a new level, the pure life of our Prophet (saw), and the exemplary Muslims around the world all contribute to people finding Islam. While the grace of true faith opens a whole new page in the lives of converts, I wondered what people like us, who are growing up as Muslims, have done wrong. And regardless of the circumstances, I realized once again at the end of this journey that Islam is a great hope for all of humanity in the 21st century.
